SICILY. Akragas. Circa 425-410 BC. Hexas (Bronze, 17 mm, 6.61 g, 7 h). [AK-PA] Eagle standing right with spread wings and dead hare in its talons. Rev. Crab; below, two fish right; to upper left and right, pellet (mark of value). CNS I, 71. HGC 2, 144. SNG ANS 1053-4. A lovely example with a beautiful crab. Struck on a slightly short flan and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, nearly very fine.
